Description
A traditional composition on the theme. Enclosed in a carved and gilt frame. The drawing is disproportionate, but the colouring is extremely expressive. The image is built by composing the large spots of the golden background, the white horse, the red garments, the green terrain and the blue lake.

In the middle of the right-hand side a donor's inscription can be read along with the date 1667. Restored in the National Art Gallery's atelier in 1961-1962.
