Description
A traditional iconographic approach to the theme: John the Baptist is depicted to the waist in the centre with eight biographic scenes around him.
Iconographical technique: Tempera
The gilding is applied on top of a polyment, using sheet gold.
Base material: Wood
Three boards of foliferous wood with keys. Plaster ground applied in a uniform layer.
State, restoration traces and comments
The graphic area is enclosed in a carved frame which is fully destroyed on the right-hand side.
