Description
The center of the icon is the risen Christ, accompanied by two angels. He is with outstretched arms, holding in his left hand a flying euclesia with a long shaft. His body is wrapped in a white and red cloak. Painted in the icon's lower part are the soldiers, guarding the tomb of Christ.
Iconographical technique: Combined
The varnish cover is badly soiled and with drops of wax.
Base material: Wood
The base is a softwood panel, with two inserted beams. The ground coat is of plaster, about 0,5 mm thick.
State, restoration traces and comments
There are no traces of any previous restorative intervention.
