These are the oldest dated royal doors in Bulgaria.
Description
The characteristic scene of the Annunciation is depicted in the upper part of the royal doors, the apostles Peter and Paul (seldom seen on royal doors) in the lower part. The images are executed with virtuousity, the architectural background is skilfully used to consolidate the composition.
