A traditional compositional treatment of the theme.
Iconographical technique: Tempera
Gold-leaf, probaster, "scratch" and velaturas were used. The development of the images is typical of the Tryavna iconographic school. The halos and the clothes of St. Nikolas are engraved with gold shackles. The right hand of St. Nicholas are engraved with silver shackles. The image has been developed in the tradition of the school.
