Description
A traditional approach to the iconography on the theme. Christ Pantocrator is depicted, blessing with his right hand and holding an open book in the left. To the left and right of Christ in the top corners of the graphic area the waist-high images of the Virgin and John the Baptist are located in two medallions.
Iconographical technique: Tempera
The gilding on the halo, the medallions and the frame is made of sheet gold.
Base material: Wood
Two softwood boards fasten with two keys.
